United Networks Group LTD recognises the importance of environmental protection and will complywith all environmental legislation, regulations and approved codes of practicerelating to the activities of the company.United Networks Group LTD will co-operate and maintain good relations with all regulatory authorities.
The company’s policyis to continually improve our environmental performance. An Environmental Management System based on the requirements of ISO 14001:2015 has been developed to determine how we manage the environmental aspects of our work.
Reviewing these recordsperiodically will allowus to measure the impactof our activities and focusresources to achieve continual improvement in our environmental performance and prevention pollution.United Networks Group aims to reduce its environmental impact by:
- Provide a well-structured and organised approachto its operations.
- Using recycled materials and sustainable renewable sources wherepossible.
- Working with suppliers who take stepsto minimise theirenvironmental impact.
- Working with local suppliersto reduce carbon emissions from deliveries wherepossible.
- Reduce the amountof waste produced.
- Clearly determine the requirements of environmental management and assign responsibility to personnel.
- Involve employees in our environmental management plan and providing necessary training to enable them to discharge their responsibilities.
- Carry out our work in an environmentally sensitive manner.
All endeavors will be taken to ensurethat our operations and activities are controlled to avoid any detrimental impactto the environment throughout all stages but in the event of a non-conformity being discovered this shall be investigated promptly and communicated back to senior management, such incidents will be recorded.
Documented procedures are implemented to ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken when required and the staff regularly consider actions required to prevent potential non-conformities.
Internal Audit & Management Review:Audits are regularlycarried out by trained staffto a predetermined schedule to ensuresystem and processcompliance and continual improvement. Management Reviewsare carried outat least annually and minutes circulated to participants and interested parties.
This Environmental Policy endorsed by United Networks Group senior management outlines our commitment to our environmental responsibilities and will be available to the public and communicated to all Managers,Employees, Sub- Contractors and Suppliers. The Managing Directorassumes overall responsibility for the formulating and implementing of thisEnvironmental Policy to ensure compliance with ISO 14001-2015 and all otherlegal obligations.
